Internet Safety Tips
A few simple habits can help keep your account and personal information safe online.
1. Protect your personal information
Never share your real name, address, school, phone number, passwords, or private photos in public posts or messages.
2. Use a strong, unique password
Use a password that is hard to guess and do not reuse it across other websites. If you think someone knows your password, change it right away.
3. Watch out for scams
Be careful with messages asking for account details, items, or currency. Staff will never ask for your password.
4. Think before you click
Avoid unknown links or downloads. They may lead to phishing pages or harmful software.
5. Keep conversations respectful
If someone is rude, threatening, or makes you uncomfortable, do not engage. Block, report, and move on.
6. Report unsafe behavior
Report bullying, harassment, scams, impersonation, or suspicious activity. If something feels wrong, tell staff.
7. Talk to a trusted adult
Younger players should check with a parent/guardian if they are unsure about a message, request, or link.
8. Log out on shared devices
If you use a shared computer, always log out when finished so others cannot access your account.
