Grooming items are no longer one use but can be used multiple items though they will eventually break after usage and plushies are no longer infinite but will also be used up overtime. This was the plan from the beginning, just hadn't quite been implemented. Hopefully that'll help grooming to be a little more balanced and affordable as I noticed myself in playing it was too a lot of effort to groom. 

Be careful if you are grooming too heavily. Your pet just might get a rash!
